Will there still be hockey in the desert next season or will they move to the Great White North?
Maybe have teams in markets where people are actually hockey fans not just snowbirds and transplants only going to see the teams they grew up with.
Why does the NHL want mediocre teams that have to dump their star players to just get more low priced prospects, if any of them should have value just dump them again around trade deadline, and do not have the financial resources to sign free agents.
Florida is another example of a Bettman experiment gone wrong as they are just 1 season away from tying the playoff futility of California-Oakland Seals who would latter become Cleveland Barons before merging with Minnesota Stars (1970-79) and Colorado Rockies/NJ Devils (1978-87) of nine straight seasons of not making the playoffs.

Hockey Definition of “Juice Scoring”?
I enjoy Hockey, but since there is not a team where I leave, I’m not a “Die-hard” Hockey fan. So when I was reading an article in “Yahoo Sports” (see link below) I was confused by the term “Juice scoring” when it showed up in the article. I went looking for a definition and found the term in several other Hockey news stories regarding changing the net size. For the life of me, I cannot find a definition of “juice scoring”. I’m guessing that it has to do with increasing the scores to make Hockey more interesting, but I cannot be sure.
Can someone tell me what the definition is?
