A question for people who watch baseball tonight?

Question by feenafee: A question for people who watch baseball tonight?
i like baseball tonight i really do, but i see this favoritism toward the American league does any one else see that? like it’s soppose to inform you on what is going on in MLB right? welll they didn’t even mention that Adam Eaton of the Phillies went on the DL. now if a Yankee’s player went on the DL that would have benn one of the 1st things they mentioned. i guess the question is is how good of a job do you think they do covering mlb news.

Best answer:

Answer by Dr. J
Um…. Baseball Tonight is basically a show dedicated to highlights of the Yankees and Red Sox due to being on ESPN. Everything else they show just fills the time.

Q&A: Why do people that watch Fox News refuse to accept the fact that Fox News is biased?

Question by Trollin’: Why do people that watch Fox News refuse to accept the fact that Fox News is biased?
How can so many people be misled by a news channel which claims to be fair and balanced. Fox News is always attacking Obama and Democrats but not saying anything about the other side. What Fox News is doing is they’re linking him with a loaded image of a horrible president if not the worst in U.S history.

That is a very hard question to answer, luckily I made it home in time! IF you would watch channels like CNN they take bits and pieces of it that will be shown all day…but for the whole thing, you might find it online…try youtube….or his website.

How much interest do people overseas really have in pro football?

Question by MJMGrand: How much interest do people overseas really have in pro football?

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-superbowl-london&prov=ap&type=lgns

Is it high enough to play a superbowl there? I am not big on this at all. Do you think this will potentially be good for the NFL or do they run the risk of alienating their American fan base?

Best answer:

Answer by El BrandO
The NFL is trying to get international appeal. I can’t blame them for it, look at basketball. It’s practically played in EVERY country in the world. The NFL wants to cash in on it too. However, there’s a reason it’s called American Football and not just football. That’s because around the rest of the world football is soccer and here football is football.

They have NFL Europe, but that doesn’t do near as well there as it does here. The kids don’t like it there like they like it here. Their football stars there are Ronaldinho, David Beckham and Theirry Henry. The cultures are too different and the people stand for different things.

Regards,

Brandon
